Description

This webinar will provide a practical overview of the ANSI/ASSP Z10 standard, including insights into recent and upcoming updates. Participants will also gain a firsthand look at how the City of Houston—the fourth-largest municipality in the U.S.—successfully adopted and implemented the Z10 standard. Discover how they secured leadership buy-in, overcame implementation challenges, and embedded the principles of Z10 into a complex, citywide operation.

As part of your registration, you will receive digital versions of Z10.0-2019, GM-Z10.100-2024, and GM-Z10.101-2019.

Amy Timmerman

Amy Timmerman, is president of AT Safety, a consulting firm that specializes in management systems. She has held safety leadership positions in global companies like GE, Siemens and Stryker. Timmerman is chair of the ANSI/ASSP Z10 Committee and a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO Project Committee 283 that publishes ISO 45001, the international standard on occupational health and safety management systems. She teaches in the occupational safety and health degree program at Illinois State University and is a recognized expert in management systems, risk assessments, incident investigation and regulatory

Steven T. Guillory Jr

Steven T. Guillory Jr., M.S., CSP, REM, IPMA-SCP, CPM, Quality and Risk Manager, City of Houston

Dr. Steven Guillory is a transformational safety leader with over 20 years of experience spanning environmental health, emergency management, risk, and public administration. He serves as Quality and Risk Manager for the City of Houston’s Wastewater Operations, where he led the award-winning “Zero is Possible” (ZIP) safety program inspired by ANSI/ASSP Z10. A Certified Safety Professional and educator, Dr. Guillory teaches safety and environmental health courses at leading universities. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and an active leader in ASSP, NSC, and WSO. His leadership, mentorship, and service continue to shape the future of safety across sectors.
