SafetyFOCUS is the place to gain in-depth training on important safety topics. While most safety conferences provide an overview of important topics, SafetyFOCUS is your chance to take a deep dive into the material that matters most to you.

Consent
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ASSP professional development, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ASSP’s use and distribution of the attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes of such events and activities.
Attendees also agree to adhere to ASSP’s Code of Professional Conduct. ASSP reserves the right to remove attendees not behaving consistent with the Code of Conduct.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
All registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice@assp.org. Phone requests or verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
If learning resources such as standards or videos are included in the registration price of your course and you access those resources using your ASSP My Learning account prior to the course’s start date, you will be ineligible for a refund.
Cancellation requests received on or before February 1, 2027, will receive a refund of registration fees, but will be charged a $100 administrative fee.
Cancellation requests received after February 1, 2027, including no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
Registration Substitutions
Registration substitutions may be requested at no additional charge on or before February 1, 2027, and will be granted or denied at ASSP’s sole discretion. A $25 non-refundable administrative fee will be charged for approved substitutions. Requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice@assp.org and include the original registrant's name along with the substitute attendee's complete contact information. Substitution requests submitted after February 1, 2027, will be charged a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.
Event Changes or Cancellation
ASSP reserves the right to modify the event, faculty, schedule, venue, or event format as necessary.
Should circumstances beyond ASSP's reasonable control require the event to be postponed or cancelled, ASSP's liability is limited to the registration fees paid. ASSP is not responsible for reimbursement of airfare, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, meals, or any other incidental or consequential costs incurred by attendees. Any refunds due as a result of a cancellation will be processed within 60 days via the original method of payment. No administrative fees will be refunded.
Exceptions
Requests for refunds after the February 1, 2027, deadline due to medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at ASSP's discretion. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
