Description

Are your ergonomics assessments overlooking the body part workers depend on most? Whole-body assessment methods excel at identifying obvious lifting and postural risks, but they can overlook the cumulative strain associated with repetitive, hand-intensive work. Learn why hand injuries can have a significant impact on daily activities and how targeted assessment methods can help identify and prioritize less-visible upper-extremity risks.

The bigger the movement, the easier it is to see—but not necessarily the more important it is to fix.

Note: Registration for this webinar will end 45 minutes prior to its start time. You may need to disconnect from your organization's VPN to view the content.

What You Will Learn

  • Differentiate between ergonomic risk factors effectively captured by whole-body assessment methods and those requiring body-region-specific evaluation.
  • Assess workplace scenarios to determine when targeted upper-extremity assessment methods should be incorporated into an MSD risk management process.
  • Prioritize hand-intensive tasks for intervention by recognizing conditions in which traditional whole-body assessments may underestimate upper-extremity risk.
